Dr. Raymond Labs Helps Save the Hands of Nurses Fighting COVID-19

Recently Dr. Raymond Labs made a donation to a 30-nurse COVID-19 hospital unit of CureCode Double Barrier Lotion and ATOPALM Intensive Moisture Cream for the nurses in desperate need of care for their hands. The two brands were designed to fight overdrying and restore the skin barrier, crucial components to healthy skin, a boon to those on the front lines where frequent hand washing and sanitizing are non-negotiable part of preventing infection and saving lives.

Dr. Raymond Labs, K-Beauty’s leading skincare company dedicated to developing and marketing innovative, affordable spa and clinic-level skincare at home, donated 300 tubes of ATOPALM and six bottles of CureCode Double Barrier Lotion to a San Francisco area 30-nurse hospital unit caring for patients infected with COVID-19. The donation came in answer to an online query from one of the unit’s nurses in search of a solution to the desperate need of the nurses in that unit to save their hands. The nurse was not necessarily looking for a donation, and asked for promo code for front line workers, but Dr. Raymond Labs would not let the nurses spend money.

“Of course we wanted to help those on the front lines of fighting the disease and helping those who are infected and suffering,” said Dr. Raymond Park, CEO of Dr. Raymond Labs. “We understand that in these times, hand washing as well as sanitizing with alcohol-based products is a life-saving measure and these nurses are some of the most at risk at their job. We also know that such frequent handwashing and use of antibacterial products can wreak havoc on hands, causing the skin to dry and crack, especially if a person has sensitive skin. CureCode was developed especially to deliver long-lasting, deep hydration to all skin but especially troubled skin as well as to help repair and strengthen the skin barrier. There are enough individual tubes for each nurse to have ten for use when needed and six larger bottles of CureCode Double Barrier Lotion to place where needed around the unit. We are all in this together.”

ATOPALM Intensive Moisture Cream has been used for decades to care for dry and sensitive skin and skin prone to issues. The key is the patented MLE (Maltese Formula) is a bio-identical healthy skin barrier structure that actually “tricks” the compromised skin barrier into thinking it is part of its own structure and rapidly incorporates the ceramides into itself, much the way new bricks and mortar in a brick wall become part of the main structure and strengthen and renew it.

CureCode Double Barrier Lotion is the only brand in the world to contain Neuromide, a patented long-chain ceramide formula that acts as a metabolite of the part of the skin microbiome connected to calming inflammation in the skin. Neuromide communicates directly with the endocannabinoid system in the skin microbiome, activating the skin’s own healing system for faster recovery of dry and irritated skin. The lotion also contains probiotics and prebiotics to establish and maintain a healthy skin microbiome, as well as St. John’s Wort, an ingredients cherished for centuries for its use in calming skin.
